Indonesia to give booster shots to public from Jan 12 as Omicron spreads
Indonesia will begin giving COVID-19 booster shots to the general public from January 12, health minister
India will start administering COVID-19 booster shots to healthcare and frontline workers from Jan. 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday.
In an address to the nation, he also said those aged 15-18 would start receiving their COVID-19 vaccinations from Jan. 3.
Modi's government has raced to inoculate all of the country's 944 million adults and has given at least one dose to 88% of those.
