Hanoi is in the top of world-famous landmarks, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City are this year’s trending destinations.

TripAdvisor “soon to see you again” announced the Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards, with landmarks around the world to visit, to suggest upcoming trips for travelers.

These rankings are published one after another in January, based on the votes of millions of real-life travelers and the feedback they leave on the site. “Those are the votes of real people, not rankings suggested by Al or a single travel expert.”

In the list of 25 famous places to travel, Hanoi ranks 17th (first is Dubai). Commenting on the capital of Vietnam, TripAdvisor wrote: “Hanoi has an ancient with many monuments, historical architecture and modernity and development”. Visitors should visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, Hoa Lo prison , lakes, parks, tree-lined avenues and more than 600 temples. This place is easily explored by taxi.

In the category of 25 destinations becoming trending this year (Top trending), Vietnam has two representatives, Hoi An (Quang Nam) and Ho Chi Minh City. Referring to the runner-up Hoi An (the champion is Cuba), Trip Advisor wrote: “Once a popular backpacker destination, today Hoi An has been known by tourists around the world”. Suggested destinations include the Bridge Pagoda, Quan Cong Temple and the experience of seeing the old town at night… Let the local tailors make you tailor-made clothes” is an experience. Ho Chi Minh City is bustling but equally charming with colonial architecture from the French colonial period, large and spacious boulevards, although “usually crowded and congested with traffic”. Taxis are an affordable option to see this vast city. Favorite destinations are War Remnants Museum , Jade Emperor Pagoda, Ben Thanh market and the Mekong Delta tour.
