– In the first year of organization, how successful was the US festival 2022, sir?

In 5 days, the festival has achieved many successes, attracting more than 100,000 visitors and locals, of which more than 10% of the population of the province are present at the festival. We must see that there is something in the congregation that is worth seeing new relatives come to such a large gathering! They come here to enjoy cultural values, and cuisine, exchange feelings and share opportunities for cooperation and trade together.

The story of the United States of America in the festival is told through the journey of experiencing the “Five Colors of the United States” – representing 5 characteristics of indigenous culture and the splendor of the land of Lang, including Indigenous Sac, Sac Sac. Future, Cohesive Colors, Sound Shades and Natural Colors.

The success of the festival is recreating the cultural beauties of the Lang ethnic people, through the introduction of special cuisines, traditional crafts and exhibitions. OCOP products, famous local specialty gifts.

Along with that, visitors can experience traditional art performances by nearly 30 artists such as excerpts from the Then ceremony, excerpts from the theatricalization of Ky Cung – Ta Phu festival, lion and cat dance performance, performing exchange singing then, sli, gliding, adoration dance, weeding, tossing, beating bird’s nest… The event also gathered many famous artists such as Sen Hoang My Lam, Hong Nhung, Kyo York with more than 100 texts. artist, actor, director and choreographer.

– Besides developing the United States festival, what other advantages does Lang Son possess to attract domestic and foreign tourists?

Lang Son is an outstanding tourist and discovery destination in the Northeast region with its mountainous scenery and diverse and typical indigenous culture. We also have a tradition of festival tourism, especially every Tet to spring. Visitors can join the local people to go to the festival to listen to sli singing, Luong singing, Pac Khuong love market…

The advantage of being adjacent to the border gate also promotes a wave of tourists to travel to festivals, temples, and shopping in Lang Son. Markets such as Tan Thanh, Dong Kinh, and Ky Lua night market… are destinations that attract many groups of tourists to shop and explore the culture in the border city. Every year, Lang Son records millions of visitors to the locality.

In the future, the Lang Son tourism industry will make a breakthrough with many destinations being deployed such as Mau Son national tourist area, which is expected to build a cable car to the top with many unique experiences. The province is also establishing a large geopark stretching across Huu Lung, Chi Lang, Bac Son, Van Quan and Binh Gia districts.

At the US festival 2022, the Mailand Hoang Dong project was announced and restarted, positioned as “American City”. I assess that in the near future, this will be an ideal destination for trade, tourism and relaxation on the route connecting Vietnam and the world.

– How has the infrastructure connecting to Lang Son in recent years changed to promote the advantages of tourism, sir?

Currently, Lang Son’s traffic connection in the Northeast is very convenient thanks to the Bac Giang – Lang Son expressway. In the future, the Huu Nghi – Chi Lang expressway completed and put into operation will contribute to promoting the province’s economic development, including tourism. In addition, Lang Son province has proposed to invest in a project to upgrade national highway 4B connecting Quang Ninh province and Hai Phong city. This is an important project not only serving the transport of goods, importing and exporting in the region, but also connecting tourism from Lang Son to Van Don, Ha Long international airports, Mong Cai border gate…

Visitors will have new experiences when choosing to swim in Ha Long – Quang Ninh and experience Mau Son Mountain in Lang Son because the distance between these two tourist attractions only takes 2 hours, the road is very beautiful. and poetic.
