Tourism bustle during Hung Kings commemoration holiday

The hometown of President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien Relic Site in Nghe An Province welcomes many visitors during Hung Kings commemoration holiday.   

NDO – Localities across the country were bustling with visitors during the three-day holiday to commemorate death anniversary of the Hung Kings from April 9 to 11.


Accordingly, the south-central province of Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 55,400 tourists, including 1,000 foreigners, and earned approximately 223 trillion VND in tourism revenue.

From April 8 to 11, the province’s Cam Ranh International Airport received around 32 domestic flights per day, transporting some 200 passengers each.

Up to 60,000 holiday makers visited Quang Nam Province on the occasion, as shared by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on April 11.

Most of them spent their holidays in Hoi An Ancient Town, Cham Islet, the Bay Mau coconut forest, An Bang Beach, and Huong Tra Ecotourism Village.

The Nghe An Provincial Tourism Department revealed that over 150,000 visitors across the country flocked to the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien Relic Site, Cua Lo Beach, and other local tourist attractions.

The province brought in about 120 billion VND from tourism during the reviewed period.

On April 11, the Quang Binh Provincial Tourism Department reported that the province greeted about 30,000 visitors during the Hung Kings holiday. Most of whom were domestic tourists who travelled with families or as part of small group tours.
