Playground in Vung Tau when not swimming

Ngoc Thao suggests some attractions in Vung Tau without swimming for those who are afraid of the sun and black skin.

Tran Thi Ngoc Thao, born in 1999, currently lives in Ho Chi Minh City but was born and raised in Vung Tau. She goes to the coastal city at least once a month. Although she is a coastal person, Ngoc Thao does not like to swim in the sea because she is afraid of black skin.

“Just going to Vung Tau is not enough, so the places I recommend can make everyone’s trip more memorable,” Ngoc Thao said.

Ngoc Thao checked in with a giant bougainvillea tree – a famous virtual living spot in Vung Tau that has nothing to do with the sea in 2021. Currently, the tree has been stolen, causing many tourists to regret it. This year the flowers have bloomed but not as much.

Lighthouse Autumn Path

From Ha Long Street, turn to Hai Dang Street, there will be a fork. Instead of turning left onto the lighthouse, go straight up to the Lightroom cafe to see this street. Visitors should not come here in the midday sun because the light shines directly, making it difficult to take pictures. Ngoc Thao named it “autumn road” because this place is most beautiful in the season of falling leaves. If you come to visit the lighthouse directly, Ngoc Thao suggests coming in the evening, it will be more interesting than during the day.

Nghinh Phong Cape

This is a suitable place for those who love to admire the sea view. Ngoc Thao said that the seawater in this area is clearer and bluer than other beaches. From here, visitors can see Hon Ba, further away, fishing boats. In this area, the wind is strong, so visitors can bring a thin jacket to avoid soaking up the cold.

The road to Nghinh Phong cape is bumpy and rocky, you need to wear shoes or sandals, avoid going barefoot. Limit wearing skirts to easily move. This is also Thao’s favorite place in Vung Tau. “Watching the waves crash against the rocky shore makes the mood much more comfortable,” the girl shared.

Although Ngoc Thao does not like to swim in the sea, she always feels comfortable and relaxed when watching the waves crash on the shore.

Fusion Suites Cafe

This is a beautiful place to watch the sunset in Vung Tau, located at 2 Truong Cong Dinh Street. Guests can go up to drink coffee without staying at the hotel. The view of the restaurant is beautiful, with a panoramic view of the sunset over the sea, as well as a place to anchor boats, suitable as a background for virtual live photos.

Alley 107-109 Tran Phu

The alley is known as the ” divine check-in point”. The alley is a bit difficult to find, visitors go to Tran Phu street near Dau beach, look on the left-hand side to see confetti, this alley is close by. The best time to visit is in the afternoon when the tide is close to the shore.

The alley on Tran Phu street is known as the divine corner, the place to create poetic photos.

Pig Hill

The hill faces east, making it an ideal place to watch the sunrise. The hillside has fences and green lawns, suitable for muse-style check-in photos.

Phuoc Hai fishing village

Ngoc Thao compares the fishing village to come out of the Korean movie Hometown Cha Cha Cha . The village has many beautiful alleys, leading to the sea. After visiting the village, you can stop by the market to buy seafood. Ngoc Thao finds the seafood here is fresher than in the center of Vung Tau city.

In addition to sharing places to visit, Ngoc Thao also commented on the tourism industry of her hometown. The advantage of Vung Tau is that it is located on a beach with a beautiful location and convenient for commuting from Ho Chi Minh City, only takes 2 hours. The seafood here is cheaper than the average, fresh and delicious.

The girl also realizes that Vung Tau has some limitations in the eyes of a local. “Because it is a famous coastal tourist city for a long time, the number of tourists coming here every year is very large, affecting more or less the environment. The seawater is more turbid than before and some beaches still have a lot of garbage,” Thao said. . She wants visitors to love and keep Vung Tau clean and beautiful, not littering.
