The hidden charm of Tra Vinh city

Tra Vinh is 150km south of Ho Chi Minh City, 80km east of Can Tho. To get to Tra Vinh, tourists usually follow Highway 1A through Long An, My Tho to Ben Tre, and then to Mo Cay town.

From Mo Cay town, visitors take a ferry across the Co Chien River to reach Tra Vinh. This ferry is about to complete its transportation mission when the nearby Co Chien cable-stayed bridge comes into operation.

Coming to Tra Vinh, it is impossible not to mention the unique Khmer temples of the people here. The most prominent of which is the Vam Ray pagoda, Tra Cu district, which was rebuilt from the old temple destroyed during the war. Vam Ray Pagoda is considered one of the most beautiful Khmer temples in the West.

Kosla Pagoda is also a beautiful temple in the Tra Cu district. The peaceful and pure scenery at the temple door gives visitors a relaxing space away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Siamese mango is a beautiful little temple located in Tra Cu town.

From Tra Vinh city to Chau Thanh town, visitors will come to Hang Pagoda (Kompong chary temple, meaning banyan tree wharf). This beautiful temple is located in the middle of a forest of large trees that are inhabited by birds.

Along National Highway 53 from Tra Vinh towards Tieu Can town, visitors will come to the most famous scenic cluster of Tra Vinh province which is Ang pagoda, Ba Om pond and Khmer cultural research center.

Ba Om pond is the most famous scenic spot of Tra Vinh province, visitors who come here are also surprised by the strange and interesting scenery as well as the roots of trees with all kinds of strange shapes floating on the ground.

Ben Co cake soup, a specialty of the land and people here, is sold right at the foot of Ben Co bridge.

In addition to Ben Co cake soup, there are many different types of noodles and noodles when coming to this land. In Tra Vinh market, there are many famous noodle shops that visitors can try.

Not as famous as Soc Trang noodle soup, but Tra Vinh noodle soup also has its own unique features. Along Dong Khoi street is a famous noodle shop in Tra Vinh province.
