Ha Giang’s color on the “path of happiness”

Vi Xuyen Cemetery

Before discovering Ha Giang, Vi Xuyen martyrs’ cemetery was the first destination for tourists, where construction was started in 1990, and was the resting place of over 1,800 martyrs.

Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery (Ha Giang Province) is located next to NH2, about 18km from Ha Giang City towards Hanoi. The National Martyrs Cemetery was built on an area of ​​1.2HA, leaning against the Tay Con Linh mountain range, facing the historic Lo river.

Quan Ba ​​Heaven Gate

It is one of the famous landmarks of Ha Giang province. This is considered as the boundary between heaven and earth.

From the gate of the sky, panoramic eyes, you will admire a beautiful landscape picture with immense mountains, green terraced fields and triangular valleys when the season comes. 

Quan Ba ​​slope is winding, meandering, in the far side is the canyon area of ​​the sky gate. The ethnic people here think that the area where the two cliffs intersect to form a high cliff is the gate of heaven.
From a high point on Quan Ba ​​slope, you can see out to Quan Ba ​​Doi mountain. Quan Ba ​​twin mountain, also known as Co Tien mountain. The mountain has a strange appearance, rising in the middle of limestone mountains and terraced fields. According to Ha Giang tourism experience, Quan Ba ​​heaven gate is the most ideal place to see the full view of the mountain.

One of the places that leave the most impression on visitors when coming to this land is Tham Ma slope, one of the legendary adventurous roads that any adventurer who is passionate about wants to be. conquer it.

Despite the steep slope and the most dangerous sleeve bends, it is also the most beautiful in the northeastern street of Vietnam.

Tham Ma slope connects Yen Minh to Pho Fox. Because of connecting two famous landmarks in the Ha Giang tourist journey, almost anyone who comes here must go through this slope. The name of the slope is also quite attractive to discover.

According to the village elders, the ancient tools of mobility were almost exclusively dependent on horse power.

Lung Cu flagpole

Following the 4C National Highway 160km northeast, visitors will arrive in Dong Van commune, Dong Van district. From here, continue down the paved road connecting the two communes Lung Cu – Dong Van about 40km, visitors will come to Lung Cu peak.

King Meo’s residence is located in the middle of Sa Phin valley, Dong Van district, on a high floating block like a turtle’s shell, symbolizing Kim Quy god, surrounded by an arc-shaped mountain range, creating a very defensive terrain. great.

Many stone details of the building are elaborately carved, cleverly bearing symbols for wealth and prosperity. The pillars are carved into the shape of a large jar-like poppy stalk, which resembles every detail, and is polished in white silver.

The palace of King Meo Vuong Chinh Duc has become and is becoming a famous tourist destination in beautiful Ha Giang that visitors cannot miss.

September 10, 1959 was the day of commencement of the paving of Happiness Road to Dong Van Stone Plateau. Through many hardships and sacrifices with the participation of over 1,200 citizens and the help of more than 1,000 young volunteers in provinces, by March 20, 1965, the road was completed.

The road starts from Quang Trung ward, Ha Giang city and ends in Meo Vac town with a length of 185km. Workday for implementation is 2,246,321 with volume of 2,899,638m3 of rock and soil. Road construction costs at the time of the 60s of the first century were over … 5.5 million VND.
