The book was compiled by cleric Alexandre de Rhodes, then printed at the Vatican printing house and brought to Vietnam for use in his preaching sessions.
Currently, this ancient book is kept at the Mang Lang Church – one of the oldest churches in Vietnam built-in 1892.
