Mang Den town, in Kon Tum province’s Konplong district, is dubbed as the "second Dalat of the Central Highlands” thanks to its immense pine forests, cool climate and especially many cherry blossom trees blooming in every spring, according to Vnexpress.

Mang Den is located at the end of Violet Pass where owns stunning curves. Traveling the pass in the early morning, tourists can have the chance to admire white seas of ​​clouds and gorgeous sunrise.

In spring, as the northeast monsoons stop blowing, the temperature drops as low as 14 degrees Celsius and the sun still shines, cherry blossoms start to bloom, attracting a throng of tourists to check in.

The first cherry blossom trees entered Mang Den in 2010, and now the number of trees has amounted to 20000. Situated at an altitude of 1,200 m, the town offers a suitable climate condition for cherry blossom trees to grow. The flower season lasts from December to the end of the first lunar month.

“I am really into traveling to Mang Den as its climate is similar to Da Lat. Besides, the place still retains vast pine forests and especially it has a brilliant spring”, Nguyen Thu, a photographer from Quang Ngai was quoted by Vnexpress as saying.
