Young people check-in the Tet decoration street

HO CHI MINH CITY – Hai Thuong Lan Ong route (Q5) displays and sells Tet decorations from the end of December of the calendar year, attracting many visitors.

Hai Thuong Lan Ong is a trading street for decorative products. That is why this street is always filled with the atmosphere of each holiday, especially the Lunar New Year.

Not only attracts visitors to shop, but the street is also a favorite Tet photography place for many tourists.

Mr. Nam (Nha Be district) said that this was the first year he came to Hai Thuong Lan Ong street to take pictures of Tet. Because this is still a trade route, Mr. Nam is afraid that taking pictures will affect the small business. However, he said everyone was very cheerful and did not seem to care much about the visitors.

Zeni Vuova, a visitor to the Czech Republic (red shirt) and Aleksandra Praszczak Vel Tracz, Poland (pink shirt), said he was excited to experience wearing an ao dai for the first time and taking pictures here.

Many women dressed in ao dai go to Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street to shop for Tet photos. Ms. Bao Yen (Binh Thanh) shared, although no one forbade guests to take photos, many people were afraid to wear ao dai to walk around.

Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street started to trade and display Tet decorations since Christmas ended. In every season, every Tet holiday, this place seems to be the earliest ‘decoration’ place. A period of time that does not fall on any occasion, this place will sell wedding decorations.

With the items on display, visitors will have miniatures for check-in, which is also the reason why the road is always busy during the holidays.

Not only phones but also professional cameras and camcorders are used by young people when taking pictures.

Mr. Quang (Q5), owner of a shop selling decorations in Hai Thuong Lan Ong, said that most of the shop owners here are not afraid to take pictures. The fact that many people come to the store also creates a frenzy atmosphere for the store, of course, except when it is crowded, taking photos can interfere.

Mr. Dat (black shirt), a salesman at Hai Thuong Lan Ong street, said that it was too familiar for visitors to take pictures. Not only taking pictures, but many crew members come here to do music videos.

When going to take pictures, visitors should note that, according to the business concept, do not come in the morning time because this is the opening time, so the fact that visitors come to the store without buying is a taboo for traders .

Lanterns, couplets, fake flowers or red paper, red packets … can be easily found on Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street.

Customers who buy goods will often drive to the place to pick up, so during peak times, this route can get congested. For visitors, taking photos, they can park their cars at Kim Bien market for 7,000 VND / time.
