Phap Hoa Pagoda in Dak Nong is located on Hung Vuong Street in Quang Thanh Commune, Gia Nghia City. The temple belongs to the sect of Tonkin Buddhism. This is not only a place where religious activities play an important role in the spiritual life of the people of Dak Nong mountain town, but this place is becoming an attractive check-in point that increasingly attracts young people to come to worship. and visit the temple.

History of formation and development is full of fluctuations 

Phap Hoa Dak Nong Pagoda was first built in 1959 with the name at that time as the Buddhist Temple. However, shortly after construction, in the same year, on the occasion of the Vu Lan festival, the pagoda of Ngo Dinh Diem government devastated heavily in the persecution of Buddhists who were attending the temple, causing this place to be devastated very heavy.

In 1960, Phap Hoa pagoda was rebuilt by Master Tri Huy with a very primitive architecture, the roof was roofed with corrugated iron and was still named Recited Buddha Street, Quang Duc, which was taken after the name of Quang Duc province at that time. In 1969, Dai Duc Hoa Nghiem returned to the pagoda and renamed it Phap Hoa pagoda until today.

After 1975, when Dai Duc Hoa Nghiem returned to his hometown, there was no abbot. However, people around the area often come back and forth to look after and chant prayers and worship. Located in 2000, the pagoda has a new abbot, Dai Duc Thich Quang Hien, who together with local Buddhists rebuild the temple to have a spacious appearance as the present. 

Peaceful beauty with unique architecture 

Dak Nong Phap Hoa Pagoda has the majestic appearance of traditional Vietnamese temples with a curved red roof with dragon motifs. The pagoda is located on a high hill, with the main gate facing the Southeast, the front is the scenery of a valley.This temple has areas such as the main hall of 160m2, a 5-storey tower with a circle shape, rising amnesty, mandarin radio, tam gate, Lam Ty Ni garden, great hall …

This temple in Dak Nongis typically designed in the style of Hue garden houses combined with the architecture of stilt houses in the Central Highlands. That is why the space here creates a sense of nostalgia and peace. In the temple grounds, the ancient phoenix line has a large statue of Guan Yin Bodhisattva, in addition there is a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, statue of Bodhisattva Maitreya, Bodhisattva, Jizō Bodhisattva, Dharmapala and Shakyamuni , the small scenes and trees decorated are arranged in harmony and beautifully.
