Hanoi (VNA) - The open platform Viettel AI ( Viettel AI Open Platform ), A platform of artificial intelligence ( IA ) Developed by the Army Telecommunications Group (Viettel), was launched on August 28 by the Ministry of Information and Communication.
The launch is part of a chain of events aimed at showcasing “made in Vietnam” digital platforms serving the “National Digital Transformation Agenda until 2025 with prospects until 2030” approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
According to Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung, the 4th Industrial Revolution is fundamentally changing production across the world thanks to the breakthroughs of the Internet and AI.
Many countries have recognized the inevitable development and significant transformational impact of AI in all aspects of life, which is shifting the balance of economic, military and political power, he said, adding that the AI was at the heart of the digital transformation.
Viettel AI Open Platform provides core technologies using AI platforms to help businesses and organizations automate, optimize, and operate more efficiently.
Viettel AI Open Platform is currently focusing on areas such as Vietnamese speech processing technology, Vietnamese natural language processing technology, and computer vision technology. -VNA
