NDO – Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, along with nearly 200 doctors and nurses, left Hanoi on August 2 to operate Field Hospital No.16 in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, serving for COVID-19 control.

“Field Hospital No.16 is located in a convenient place with stable traffic. My colleague and I will operate the hospital in the most effective and scientific manner. The leading experts and doctors in active resuscitation, anti-toxicity and infection will provide the best treatment for patients”, shared Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Tuan.

The medical staff participating in this special mission have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine and have good knowledge of epidemic prevention measures. All of them are excited and ready for the trip and promise to return home after the epidemic is controlled.

The delegation of medical staff will go to Ho Chi Minh by a private jet to ensure the fastest and safest procedure.

They will uphold the experience of epidemic prevention and control in the “battlefields” while joining hands with southern compatriots to successfully stamp out the pandemic and extending Bach Mai Hospital’s spirit and sentiments to the south.
