The four hamlets subject to the lockdown order have 1,371 households with 5,405 residents. The commune’s chairperson was told to coordinate with the local health authority and the relevant agencies to set up Covid-19 checkpoints in lockdown areas and implement contact tracing works.

To date, Vinh Long has reported a total of 586 coronavirus cases in the latest outbreak.
