HCMC - Danang City is taking stronger actions to stop the spread of Covid-19, including banning gatherings of over two persons in public places and suspending delivery services from 12.00 p.m. today, July 22.
Residents in the central coast city should only go out for work, food, medicine or emergency, the local media reported.
The city also suspends outdoor exercises, including jogging and cycling.
All non-essential services are suspended, while production facilities, markets, supermarkets and suppliers of food and essential goods remain operational, but must follow anti-virus measures.
In addition, taxis, nine-seater cars, tech-enabled car services are prohibited. Residents are banned from organizing parties at home.
State agencies and firms must let half of their employees work from home and stop non-essential meetings.
Since July 20, Danang City has reported 120 local Covid infections.
