Kazakhstan Ambassador extols relations with Vietnam

He emphasized that political dialogues have been upgraded through high-level exchange visits with an official visit to Vietnam in 2011 by Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev and an official visit to Kazakhstan one year later by President Truong Tan Sang.

The ambassador highlighted the two countries’ potential for economic cooperation, saying their economies are reciprocal while suggesting Vietnam utilize Kazakhstan’s logistics potential and both nations cooperate in education.

Hailing Vietnam’s success in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, the ambassador thanked the Vietnamese side for donating masks and medical supplies to Kazakhstan.

He said that his nation has also offered two support packages worth US$13 billion, and the country plans to re-establish the state of emergency and quarantine measures as from July 5.
