Japanese foreign minister to visit Latin America, Africa

Mr. Motegi will visit Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Senegal, Nigeria, and Kenya, beginning Monday.
In Latin America, he will discuss measures to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, economic ties, and the business environment for Japanese companies.
In Africa, Mr. Motegi will discuss strengthening business ties and cooperation with next year’s session of a Japan-led conference on development known as TICAD.
