One person was killed and another injured in a hotel fire in HCM City on June 26.

The fire broke out at Thanh Da Union Hotel. The firefighters in Binh Thanh District quickly sent three fire engines and 21 firefighters to the scene after receiving the report at 3.14 pm. After 15 minutes, they put out the fire which spread and cover 9 square metres.
They also found the body of a woman born in 1989 in Binh Phuoc. Philip Mark Jenkins, a teacher from New Zealand, was injured and has been brought to the hospital.
The police in Binh Thanh District are investigation the cause of the fire.
