The top ranked Vietnamese schools are the Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (158th), the Vietnam National University – Hanoi (160th), Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City (163rd), and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (301-350 group).

Last year, eight Vietnamese schools made the QS Asia University Rankings. The three new schools listed this year are the Hanoi Pedagogy University, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, and the University of Economy in Ho Chi Minh City.
