World Bank calls for Vietnam’s economic breakthrough while keeping COVID-19 under control

She praised the World Bank’s support for Vietnam, especially in institutional building and infrastructure development. She said Vietnam is to restructure its state owned enterprises and create favorable investment climate for businesses while pursuing a selective FDI promotion policy in support of high-tech and environmentally friendly projects. Ousmane Dione urged Vietnam to promote its economic growth and benefit from opportunities during the pandemic, especially in logistics and infrastructure while ensuring sustainable development in the Mekong Delta.
