Remote consultation session between doctors from Tu Du, Nghe An and An Giang hospitals.

According to D ^r Le Quang Thanh, Director of Tu Du Hospital, most of the hospitals at the provincial and municipal level are now taking over the health care tasks of the people while building great and solid confidence.
Indeed, statistics from Tu Du Hospital have shown that the number of patients from the provinces has greatly decreased and only the seriously ill need to be hospitalized there.
By implementing a Ministry of Health project to support lower level hospitals, Tu Du Hospital coordinated with the relevant agencies to put into operation the remote medical system (telemedicine) to support the doctors of the provincial hospitals in the care of pregnant women, improve the effectiveness of treatment, consult difficult cases and save the lives of many women suffering from obstetric complications. This will reduce infant mortality.
Tang Chi Thuong, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Health Service, said Tu Du Hospital was the fourth health facility in the city to establish the telemedicine unit under the Ministry of Health project. Health, following the Tropical Disease Hospital, Oncology Hospital and Number 1 Pediatric Hospital. It is a practical tool to reduce the professional gap between doctors.
In addition, Tang Chi Thuong hopes that Tu Du Hospital will create a '' consultation system with two Councils ''. More specifically, this telemedicine system will have a Council which will bring together professors, doctors and specialists as well as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Council which will provide scientific evidence for obstetric diagnosis and treatment.
During the opening ceremony, doctors from Tu Du consulted complicated cases with colleagues from Nghe An Friendship Polyclinic and Hanh Phuc An Giang Hospital via the telemedicine system.
