Việt Nam receives international visitors with “vaccine passports”

HÀ NỘI — Viet Nam received two delegations of international visitors from Uzbekistan and Russia with “vaccine passports” on Saturday and Sunday.

They visited Phu Quốc Island and Nha Trang City.

This is the first time Viet Nam has welcomed international visitors from Uzbekistan with many optimistic signals from this new tourism market.

About 210 Uzbeks came to the Phu Quốc United Centre on Saturday. They will experience a nine-day holiday in destinations which were allowed to welcome international visitors in a separate area, ensuring no contact with the community and not affecting other tourists’ activities.

It is expected that from now until the end of February next year, the Phu Quốc United Centre will receive eight other delegations from this country.

On Sunday, Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang in Khanh Hòa Province received another visitor delegation from Russia. It is planned that the visitors will experience a holiday which lasts from seven to 25 days.

It is expected that from now to the end of March last year, Viet Nam will receive more than 8,000 Russian visitors to Khanh Hòa Province.

In the next time, Vinpearl will work with partners to welcome foreigners from countries and territories with high safety conditions such as South Korea and Taiwan (China).

To bring maximum peace of mind to visitors, in addition to strictly following instructions in the “vaccine passport”, Vinpearl maintains strict hygiene and pandemic prevention procedures.

The events to welcome international visitors to famous tourist sites are optimistic signals, contributing to promoting the recovery of national tourism, gradually developing the economy, and adapting to the "new normal" context. — VNS
