Pegaxy (Pegasus Galaxy) is a racing game with futuristic mythological styling. Pega (the horses) are descendants of the mighty Pegasus. In this game, players will participate in PvP format races to win rewards in the platform’s native utility token, VIS (Vigorus).

In short, Vigorus (VIS) is the primary “earning” and “spending” token inside the Pegaxy ecosystem.

To be clear, VIS is minted (created) through players placing inside the top 3 when racing, there was no IDO for VIS and no VIS was ever “pre-minted”. VIS is burned (destroyed) through the Breeding model (and other VIS sinks in the future) outlined later in the whitepaper. Our goal is to create a reasonably balanced mint and burn ratio while avoiding micromanagement and over dictation of the ecosystem.As mentioned, players are able to earn VIS token by racing against other players inside the game.

As mentioned in the Racing section, you must place in the top 3 to earn VIS tokens. Anyone outside of the top 3 does not earn VIS tokens. Due to the fast moving nature of the in-game economy, the awarded amount of VIS for races may change up or down in the future.

VIS token is also the primary token used for breeding and the amount of VIS required to breed depends on the breed count of each Pega. The formula for breeding can be viewed on the Breeding page.

Given that the principles are similar, at least when it comes to scholarships and investing in digital assets, it might be a good idea to share an review regarding this particular game. In case you’re not familiar with it, and you’ve been living under the rock, Pegaxy is an NFT based game whereby the horse owners compete with each other in order to win VIS token. VIS is an in-game utility token just like SLP, but burn/mint ratio is a lot healthier, at least for now. It’s worth noting the game is still in the early stage, so consider doing due diligence before investing.

Going further, the concept is quite straightforward, you buy a horse that can be utilized in different ways. You can let them compete, you can breed them in order to inflate/create new ones, or you can rent them for breeding or give others the opportunity to earn whilst earning yourself. The game is not playable, at least not in terms of navigating with your assets, so the cut between the owner and scholar is a lot lower. Once that changes, I’ll increase the ratio.

The concept is not new though, but the execution part is. The community so this comes as a fresh surprise. Adding more sinks to Vis is what matters and besides breeding, there are different mechanics to it, for instance, you can change your horses name, you can use in-game items to change the colors of your horse. Unlike $SLP there are more things you can use utility token for. That’s what Sky Mavis can’t understand and that’s why the death spiral continues.
