As reported by Chief Financial Officer Phong Le, MicroStrategy will continue to invest in Bitcoin (BTC) despite the recent drop. The company, which held $2.41 billion worth of BTC as of Sept. 30, says its strategy is to buy and hold BTC.

Investment giant Grayscale Investments has added 25 digital assets to its list of potential investments, including DeFi projects Algorand (ALGO) and Convex (CVX), as well as startups Metaverse The Sandbox (SAND), Axie Infinity (AXS) and Yield Guild Games (YGG) . However, they added that not every property under consideration can be converted into one of their investment products.

Major asset manager Schwab Asset Management wants to offer its clients additional exposure to cryptocurrencies such as spot cryptocurrencies or blockchain technologies in the form of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), David Botset, head of equity and innovation product management, told Blockworks. John Lennon’s son Julian will be selling a collection of Beatles memorabilia as an NFT set called the “Lennon Collection” on the NFT YellowHeart marketplace starting February 7th. The collection includes some notes Paul McCartney made while writing the song “Hey Jude, John”, Lennon’s clothes from the Beatles films and various guitars that were given to Julian Lennon by his father.

Thailand’s financial authorities plan to regulate the use of digital assets as payment for goods and services, the Bank of Thailand, the Ministry of Finance and the Securities and Exchange Commission know. Regulators say they will consider using their powers to restrict the use of cryptocurrencies for payments and will issue new guidelines for a range of digital assets that support the financial system and innovate without introducing systemic risk.
