Vietnam set to welcome the world’s biggest container ship

The Margrethe Maersk was built by Danish container shipping company Maersk Line and its design is derived from the three principles of economy of scale, energy efficient, and being environmentally friendly.
Through the ship’s arrival, CMIT will become one of the world’s 20 major ports capable of receiving vessels of this size, therefore affirming the position of Cai Mep on the global maritime map and becoming a gateway port and international transit centre in line with the Government’s wishes.
