The Urban and Service Area for Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park has a total planned area of about 108 hectares, and an estimated population of 20,000 people.
The People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued a decision approving the detailed planning of the urban and service area for Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park.
Accordingly, the project is located in Nam Son ward, Bac Ninh city and Yen Gia commune, Que Vo district. The total planned area is 108 ha and the population is expected to be about 20,000 people. The project is oriented to be an ecological urban area with low construction density, providing urban services for industrial parks and Chua Dam tourist area.
Major land use functions include land for commercial housing, land for construction of social housing, land for public service facilities, greenery land, parking lots, and other technical infrastructure land, and Land transport.
Project objectives are to promote development of urban and local housing; as a basis for implementing investment in the construction of infrastructure works of urban areas, residential units, residential areas, ..
The time for elaboration of a detailed planning project shall not exceed 6 months from the date the planning tasks are approved.
In March 2020, the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province issued a written approval for Kinh Bac Consulting and Investment Joint Stock Company to sponsor the detailed planning of the above mentioned urban and service area project.

According to research, Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park was established by Decision No. 856 of the Prime Minister dated June 28, 2007 with a total planned area of 1,000 hectares. In which, the industrial area is 800 hectares, the urban area is 200 hectares.
The investors to build the infrastructure of the project are Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (600 ha) and Viglacera Glass and Pottery Corporation (400 ha).
In which, with the project on the area of 600 hectares (including 400 hectares of industrial land and 200 hectares of urban land), according to research, the original investor was IGS Group JSC, a joint venture between the Group delegation of IGS (Korea) and Nam Hong Company (Bac Ninh).
The project has a total investment of 80 million USD, is in the planning of industrial zones approved by the Prime Minister.

In February 2013, KBC was officially approved by the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province to invest in project A zone (Nam Son Industrial Park – Hap Linh) with a scale of 432.5 hectares.
According to KBC’s 2019 Annual Report, in this year alone, the enterprise invested more than 98 billion VND in Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park.
