HCMC – A conference was held in Danang City on November 4 to promote cooperation between supporting industries in the central coast city and elsewhere in the country.

The conference created an opportunity to boost linkages between enterprises in supporting industries and manufacturers and assemblers, multinationals and foreign investors.

There were 400 representatives from supporting industries such as engineering, electronics, automotive, and packaging attending the event.

According to the national industry development plan by 2030, with a vision to 2045, the processing and manufacturing industry is at the center of the country’s development. By 2030, industry in GDP would rise to 40%, with the proportion of processing and manufacturing projected at 30% of GDP.
