ICAEW and BAEMIN Vietnam team up to open career opportunities

The partnership will open up opportunities in long-term career development for BAEMIN Vietnam's employees and provide job opportunities for ICAEW students in one of the most professional and dynamic working environments in the food technology industry.

“We are delighted to establish the partnership with BAEMIN Vietnam, expanding our business focus beyond finance, accounting, and auditing – the traditional partners of ICAEW. This cooperation aims to increase and diversify opportunities for ICAEW students to develop professional careers at one of the leading Korean food technology companies in Vietnam,” Ms. Dang Thi Mai Trang, Head of ICAEW Vietnam, said.

Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Loan, Head of Corporate Finance, BAEMIN Vietnam, said: “We highly appreciate the qualifications issued by ICAEW, a world-leading professional organization. We believe that partnering with ICAEW will enable BAEMIN Vietnam's finance and accounting employees to be trained with international standards and obtain a long-term career development orientation, effectively supporting our company’s development strategy in the Vietnamese market.”

As part of the partnership, ICAEW and BAEMIN Vietnam will co-organize soft-skill training programs, professional training courses in finance, accounting, and business for BAEMIN employees. ICAEW will also offer them scholarship schemes that enable BAEMIN employees not only to gain knowledge but also to pursue one of the most advanced professional training programs, followed international standards for more professional development.

For its part, BAEMIN Vietnam will provide its employees with full support to pursue the ICAEW ACA qualification during the study and examination process. The company will also prioritize recruiting ICAEW CFAB students with good academic records.

Currently working in Business Audit at BAEMIN Vietnam, Phan Thuy Phuong Uyen is also an ICAEW ACA student. Having understood professional knowledge and practical skills achieved from her studying, she connected BAEMIN Vietnam with ICAEW to make her company one of ICAEW’s Authorized Training Employers, or ATEs.

To achieve an ICAEW ACA professional qualification and become a Chartered Accountant, a highly respected designation in accounting, auditing, finance, and business worldwide, ICAEW students need to accumulate 3-5 years of practical working experience and have their professional skills recorded by one of ICAEW's ATEs.

Therefore, the ICAEW-BAEMIN Vietnam partnership will facilitate Uyen and her colleagues in developing long-term career with the company.

Following the signed MoU, 13 BAEMIN Vietnam employees will start with one of the Certificate level’s modules in the ICAEW ACA program this September. By the end of November, they will join an international ICAEW examination.

With BAEMIN Vietnam as a new partner, ICAEW has raised its total number of ATEs in Vietnam to 58. During more than 7 years’ presence in Vietnam, ICAEW and the ATEs have brought various career development opportunities to their young staff members who are also ICAEW students. The highly qualified professional human resources have been making substantial positive contributions to their enterprises.
