NDO - The Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang city, in collaboration with the Departments of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum provinces and the Vietnam E-commerce Association, held a conference on March 29, to foster trade connections between Da Nang city and the Central Highlands provinces during 2022.

The conference, with a scale of 60 display tables, introduced more than 100 OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, typical commercial products of nearly 80 manufacturing enterprises and representatives of the Da Nang city's distribution units and three provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Kon Tum.

The products are local specialities, such as tea, honey, ginseng, convenience food, forest agricultural products, vegetables, fruits and rice from production enterprises, cooperatives, production facilities and business households from localities. In addition, the products are also produced and processed according to a clean, closed and safe process.

Delegates of Da Nang and three Central Highlands provinces signed a cooperation agreement.

The event aims to create conditions for participating units to directly introduce and promote their products' images and brands to distributors and consumers. Manufacturing enterprises of the three provinces also visited and connected partners at large stores and supermarkets in Da Nang.

In addition, the products of the participating units will also be combined to promote on the online exhibition page of the Da Nang e-commerce floor and other electronic information and media sites in the four localities.

Thereby, the event is expected to contribute to promoting connection activities and expanding consumption markets through online sales channels, which are applying multi-channel sales solutions in the 4.0 technology era.

On this occasion, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang city and the Departments of Industry and Trade of the three provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Kon Tum also signed a cooperation agreement. Accordingly, the four localities will continue to accompany each other in trade connections and businesses to maintain and further develop links and cooperation in trade promotion.
