According to the Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD), domestic individual investors set a new record with newly-opened securities accounts hitting 113,191 in March, a double increase over the same period of February. ![]()
Accordingly, March marked the first month with newly-opened securities accounts topping 100,000 ones.
The number of domestic investors’ new accounts re-increased after two months in a row decreasing with 149 new securities accounts.
In February, there were only 68 new securities accounts.
