On the morning of May 13, Hanoi People's Committee Deputy Chairman Chu Xuan Dung required all sports services that gather a high number of people and golf courses to suspend operation from 12 pm on May 13 until further service.

Hanoi will set up groups to check the pandemic prevention situation in business establishments that operate in the city.

non-essential activities and services in the city have been suspended.

Vietnam's total number of community infections from April 27 reaches 644, 61 of whom are in Hanoi. Community cases are recorded in 26 provinces across the country.

On the morning of May 13, Hanoi recorded three new Covid-19 patients, two of the week are a couple - "patient 3634", a 44-year-old male, and "patient 3633", a 42-year-old female, both returned from Da Nang. According to the Hanoi CDC, patient 3634 visited a golf course in Son Tay on May 11.
